Waze now showing on instrument cluster

Hey everyone, has anyone tried to use Waze on CarPlay and confirm that it is now showing on the instrument cluster like Apple Maps with this new version of Waze 5.4?
The new version of Waze can do that but I just saw reports of BMW and polestars.

I’ve tried it a couple of times, but still nothing. (In US, on iOS 18.4). Does it have to be “enabled” nor something?

Open the App Store, search for Waze and click update to force an update. That should work.

You have to select/enable Waze in CarPlay. On your iPhone, select Settings, then General, then CarPlay, then your car, then Customize, then Include Waze. It will then show in your car’s Apple CarPlay. When customizing CarPlay on the iPhone you can also arrange the order the icons appear in your car’s Apple CarPlay.

Confirmed that it's working, but I wish it would also be showing on HUD. I still need to see if alerts are showing when driving.

Only thing that shows in center stack is traffic color, no alerts or icons (police, hazards, etc.) and as mentioned nothing in the HUD.

Thats a bit dissapointing... But I guess still progress.

With Apple Maps or Google Maps on Android Auto, is it a similar experience?
