I’m using a work EV scheme to lease my 4S so unfortunately no ‘Track my Dream’ for me but the helpful guy at the Porsche Dealer says it is due to complete build on 12th February and expects delivery mid March-early April. Does that sound right? How does the number plate situation work? What are my chances of a 25 plate?

You will definitely get a 25 plate as it comes in on the 1st March which is why my car will be sat in the dealers for about 2 weeks until it is registered on the 1st March

Your timing sounds about right - My 4s went into production the 22nd Jan and will be at the dealers next week - so about 4 weeks but it is very dependent on shipping from Emden so your guy is allowing for that by saying possibly early April.

Expected to arrive Feb. 6 at 5:00 AM. BTW, I couldn't get the link's zoom level working correctly. Use the +/- in the lower right hand corner to zoom out to level 4 or 5 so you can see the last reported location.

I don't expect to see another update in the app until Monday or Tuesday. Then hopefully it'll be on is way to the dealer. I guess it depends on how much prep (software updates?) they'll do at the port.

My final delivery status update: Delivered!

From ordering in August with a lock in October, spending 5 weeks or so on the boat and another 2 to get to Seattle and prepped, we now have a 4S in our garage.

I do want to get some good pictures of the Macan S 20" wheels. These are much better looking than any of the online photos I've seen so far.

Mine is through Ayvens/LeasePlan Uk but discovered from Porsche Reading (where we tried one out) that Ayvens had placed the order with Porsche Mayfair so have been emailing/calling them for adhoc updates.

Yeah that’s correct. There is someone within Porsche that deals with the corporate side of things who’s been my contact throughout.

I spoke to dealer yesterday and they said it had arrived in UK and expecting it this week. Seems like mine took longer to clear customs!
If all goes ok best case I’ll pick up on Saturday. Just need to pray for the transporter to deliver it to dealer by tomorrow, maybe thurs latest!

I suspect the delay was more transport related. Mine is on its way today along with other cars for the same dealer. The salesman I deal with has 5 handovers on the 1st March - I have bagged the first at 9am. He says it will be a long day as each handover takes about 2 hrs.

It's +7 hours from here to Leipzig, so it's nearly not "today" over there anymore. Do the dates in the Porsche app actually mean anything, or are they just a gimmick to get me pumped up / nervous about when I'll get my 4S?
