2025 Macan 4 (Papaya) - Porsche On Board - Bormio - Stelvio Pass

An amazing Saturday with Porsche Italia and Centro Porsche Como in the beautiful QC terme location in Bormio. I enjoyed a new Taycan CT test drive and an off-road e-MTB ride. Another nice (unfortunately static) view of the Macan 4 (old GUI).

Papaya looks so much better in these photos than it does on the configurator. I had written it off but now I'm wondering.

@Salmonfisher yes it's very different from the configurator and, like many Porsche colors, it has various variant depending on light direction and intensity.

I've seen papaya in person, and though I liked it, not stealthy enough for my driving environment. Great photo's and the Mtb getting me in the mood for today's virtual bike race on Rouvy.

Papaya is a hit or miss color, kind of like Mamba Green on the Taycan. Under some conditions, usually indirect morning/evening light, it looks fantastic but other times it's not as flattering.

I'd file it under my list of colors that are "only spec it if you've seen it in person multiple times and absolutely love it".

That looks way better than I expect. I've seen Papaya ICE Macan's, and they aren't all that nice IMHO.
Im personally kicking myself, the Aventurine Green looks WAY better in person than the configurator simulates.

Thank PanameraFrank for that caution. As Papaya changes based on the amount of light, we will be making several trips to the Porsche dealer in all sort of weather & time of day conditions.
