In my opinion, Dolomite silver is enhanced with the side bands in the color of the car,...the wheel arches in shiny black as well as the front of the turbo in shiny, create an important and elegant detachment,...at least that's what I hope, given the my configuration

That's nice to finally see. I have specced mine in that color but was anxious to see one as so far none of the events or press cars showed it.

I agree that side blades having body color looks better in real life. Interesting that every one of the 25 Macans for the soon dealership customer presentation events in the Pacific Northwest all have colored side blades. About 2/3’s are turbonite color, then 1/3 black, with the last one in carbon fiber. Surprised that not even one has body colored blades.
Does Porsche have turbonite blades as a recommended dealer spec?
And/or: Do dealers get to custom spec those coming to them?

Same here. The blue hue is exactly what I wanted and having it next to the ice gray really shows it off. The contrast was really hard to see in the configurator but very distinct in real life.

In comparison the carbon fiber blades are a better value. Still not sure how they would look so we are going to go 135 miles to the only dealer in our part of the country who will have one with CF blades. Still very doubtful other than body color for us.

We have Carbon-Fiber blades on our 2015 Macan Turbo ( factory delivery in Leipzig May 2014). Years later, one had to be removed to paint a door - the body shop had us sign a release if it failed. The CF blades apparently crack or break easily.

I still hesitate on this color with black interior or Volcano Grey with chalk beige interior. The interest of this gray is that the contrasts with the black elements are superb. And the car is less quickly dirty on our roads 
Hi @mako, thanks for sharing these pictures! I am actually stuck between ice grey and dolomite with my freeze date coming up next week. Do you have any side-by-side pictures of the 2 colors? Dolomite is a very blue, cool toned silver. Ice Grey is really an off-white that looks very white in direct sun and light metallic grey in overcast weather.
Very different colors. I don't think many people would dislike Ice Grey, it's a very agreeable color while still being quite interesting. Dolomite is a bit of a polarizing silver, as it's very cool/blue in hue. I, and others I know, prefer the more traditional GT Silver.
Thank you! I've decided on the ice grey with side blades in body color. I'm guessing ice grey will be the most selected color haha because as you said, it's safe but interesting.
