Interesting!
I'm on the UK Intelligent Octopus Go tariff, which I use for my Tesla–a rental car that I'm using until my Macan 4 Electric arrives in January. The Intelligent Octopus Go tariff works really well with the Tesla, and costs around £0.07 per KWh.
I spoke to Andersen yesterday, who confirmed that their chargers would not be Octopus Intelligent Go integrated anytime soon. However, they told me that I could still use their A3 charger with the Macan 4 EV with Octopus Intelligent Go (and benefit from the low EV rate), but that I wouldn't be able to use their charger app (which is fine by me). They said that I could manage charging from the Macan, but @Salmonfisher's post casts doubts on this. I'd hate to get this great-looking charger installed and then find that I'm not able to get the £0.07 per KWh rate.

Do any other contributors have experience of using an Andersen A3 charger on the Intelligent Octopus Go tariff with their Macan EV? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Also, interested in this. The only option with intelligent seems to be Hypervolt, Zapi and Ohme chargers if Porsche/Macan isn't approved with them yet. Personally, I would prefer Simpson & Partners or Andersen. Suppose end of day all give same output at 7kw but rather get a better looking one!

I assume LTE requires subscription. I wonder how much of the EVSE functionality requires a Porsche subscription.

I've done a bit more digging, and it looks as if @Salmonfisher is correct (that the Macan cannot be accessed directly), and that only chargers fully integrated with Octopus Intelligent Go will be able to access the £0.07 per KWh tariff.

Shame that the Andersen A3 won't cut the mustard, so I think I'll go ahead and get a Hypervolt Home 3 Pro, which looks decent.

Snap!
Shame Andersen isn’t there yet but Hyper looks ok and certainly easier on the eye than the other Octopus solutions.

In the UK you really have two options if you want to be able to access the special EV overnight deals. They have to be smart chargers which Octopus and other such specialists can integrate with. Many chargers will claim they can but they can’t unless the car can be accessed directly which I don’t think the Macaon can. The two are Zappi and Ohme Pro. Zappi has the benefit it integrates with solar if you have it or may get it. It also has the better app on my opinion. I have one and it has been faultless over 3 years with my Polestar. An added advantage is you can have it installed on a bespoke pole away from the house if you want to. Where we have it we can back to EVs up to it. I would also advise seeing if you can find a local specialist electrician trained in chargers. You will get a better service than going to a manufacturer whose contractors will want to do the simplest install even if it is unsightly. For example mine ran the cable via the loft and then underground to the pole so no unsightly surface wiring.
Anything that is compatible with Octopus Intelligent. I have an Ohme that Octopus installed for me and it seems perfect to me.

When I was on grid I used the ohme, actually I still use it, just not in smart mode.

But you definitely want to be on octopus

I was on Octopus IOG but moved to Agile.

It was great to have lower overnight for everything, but we (I) soon got bored of doing the washing and drying overnight and the daytime rates are horrendous.

Agile is sometimes more expensive than SVR in the peak period (4-7pm) but even then, IOG is more expensive in and I can minimise usage in the peak anyway.
