So for a family with young kids I could see why some features might be appealing (except for the small boot space). For that matter the Cadillac EV or EQS are comparable as they do a nice job with that part. However, I agree that for a driver there is not much that I like about this layout and my now empty nest skews my preferences. The seats were softer/more comfortable, the UI was a lot snappier and customizable, also the one thing that really blew me away was the front passenger seat folded down completely to form a bed/leg support so when you sat in the back seat it was like sitting in a business class lie flat seat. You can see it in this video here around at 9min.
eta: The video also reminded me of some of the features I forgot about that made me think this was nicer than my Porsche, the fridge in the back, and the projector that can come down for the rear passengers. Like I said, as a driver I would definitely prefer the Porsche, but as a passanger the Huawei was much more functional and lux.
From a seat perspective I have tried a tone of cars and found that nothing beats the 18 way in the Macan EV. So when you say you found this cars seats more comfortable are you talking about the 14 way or maybe the back seats because there is a big difference that I felt especially with the adjustable bolsters.
Anyway thanks for sharing.
