Just got the update ours is on the boat headed for FL. Looks like a stop in Canada before headed to Jacksonville.

I think I'm on the same ship, the Way Forward. It's heading straight to Jacksonville. Check out the tracking at MarineTraffic: Global Ship Tracking Intelligence | AIS Marine Traffic

Sales guy is pushing for me to have it GTech detailed for £ 1,200 and I was resisting by saying there wouldn’t be time.

My dealership is offering "Full Detail, Paint Correction, and Ceramic on All Exterior Surfaces (including Windows, Trims, Wheels, and Calipers) for $2,499." I think I'll pass.

Interesting. I am surprised it is a ship stopping in Canada first versus direct to Jacksonville.

The VW ships seem to always stop in Halifax before heading to Jacksonville. The two new ships that VW charters may vary (Way Forward and Future Way). One or the other sometimes go non-stop to Jacksonville.

tommjw - I saw online that the Seine Highway was in the UK yesterday so hoped it would be back in Emden later this week and my car would be loaded for next UK shipment. The App just updated to confirm the car had left the ‘port of shipment’. I’m glad I bought a 25 plate from the DVLA as I won’t be tempted to ask the dealer to register before the 1st March.

Car should be at the dealers in plenty of time to have the tracker & dashcam fitted. Sales guy is pushing for me to have it GTech detailed for £ 1,200 and I was resisting by saying there wouldn’t be time.

Be interested to know when yours arrives at the dealers, hopefully confirming there are no ‘issues’ at the processing centre.

Should be plenty of time to fix any “issues” before the 1st March now!

The guy I’m dealing with is very helpful and unusual for sales people he is knowledgable. I’ll ask him to ensure they do a thorough check of the software / systems and if all ok, I may let him earn a bundle of commission on the detailing.

You guys got lucky. Mine was built 19 Dec and has been sitting at the port in Germany for the last 7 weeks!! Dealer assures me nothing is wrong with the car and blames the MUA strike at the ports over Dec/Jan for the now 4 to 6 week delay in delivery. Apparently the strike has caused chaos to roro shipping schedules to Aus

Sorry to hear that. Looking at the shipping, there are a number of ships doing a shuttle between Emden & the UK so VW must be moving a lot of cars to the UK.

Bonjour à tous, j’ai commandé mon Macan 4s hier, je serai livré fin mars ou début avril... Je le trouve incroyablement rapide, je pense que j’ai eu beaucoup de chance (un autre client au même moment en concession commandait un modèle similaire et sera livré en juin).
