What's the order / delivery status of your Macan EV? [Update your status if/when it changes]

Darren & Matt - are you not getting updates from the App ? See earlier posts, the App dates were accurate for a couple of us Brits recently. In my case the car left Emden on the 4th and arrived at the local port the 7th. The date for ‘arrived at port’ is not when the ship arrives but when customs and acceptance have cleared. It took only 4 days to have ‘arrived at port’ and be delivered in Essex.

Good luck - if my timings are anything to go by the cars could be with the dealers for 1st March collection. Mine is sat at the dealers awaiting tracker, Gtechnique & dashcams and waiting as I bought a 25 plate.

Are you have Porsche dashcams, are they any good as was thinking have having these too, front and rear?

I'm going to pick up my Macan on February 19 and I had the Porsche daschcams installed. I haven't tested yet.

I am getting Porsche dashcams as I spoke to Customer Disservice and they said any non Porsche dashcams or trackers fitted could invalidate the warranty for electrical issues.

I checked with my dealer about the dashcams & thermally insulated glass and they said not an issue. The Porsche website says GPS could be an issue. I have read posts where the issue is solved by placing the front camera in a particular spot on the windscreen.

I paid the Porsche tax for fitting their cameras so if they don’t work Porsche are at fault and I’ll get my £ 950 back

At my dealership, when I was optioning out, I was offered to get a Porsche dashcam, but I said to him, I prefer a different make. So, the SA said no problem, I can get installed a different make if I prefer. He never mentioned invalidity of the warranty.
It seems we get to hear different stories from different Porsche dealerships. So, I wonder.

Awaz- as UK cars come with pre-wiring I very much doubt a different camera / installer could cause a prob. As I said, I paid the extra as the website says the glass could cause a problem but the dealer said no.

I was very happy with the NextBase I had in the previous car but they now include screens and so I thought it would be too big and always in view.

I had the option of picking up my Turbo this Monday though deferred to Thursday. I will be doing a check of the car for obvious faults and will not accept delivery , and not pay, unless obvious issues are addressed. The forum has given me an idea of what to superficially check for though I would appreciate suggestions as to what should be checked in a pre delivery assessment.

Yeah was a bit of surprise. Order through work place EV scheme expecting Reading given closest one to us/work but somehow ended up at Mayfair!




Still working on this. Trying to convince Porsche and the lease company to give us access!

I’m in a very similar position, my workplace has an office with the same postcode as Porsche Hatfield but being directed to Mayfair. Wonder if there’s something that means all lease cars go through there

Mine arrived in the boat in Jacksonville Friday but the app and dealer systems haven’t updated. Hopefully once the weekend is over. Takes a day to drive it via truck to WPB and the however long to PDI. Hopeful for this weekend.
