Mobile Charger Connect - Wall Mount Plug holder issue

I installed the Basic wall mount included with the Porsche Mobile Charger Connect. When I insert the vehicle plug into the plug holder, it’s very loose and the plug just falls out. The tab inside the holder doesn’t seem to secure the plug at all.

Has anyone come across the same issue? What did you do to rectify? I’m considering putting rubber tape inside the plug holder edge to give it some grip and make it snug. Thoughts?

Try pulling out/down the small plastic tab as it looks like it’s barely making contact with the plug… carefully to prevent it from breaking off! Definitely not the best design!

@alxman I’ll try heat the small plastic tab with a hairdryer and carefully bend it out, hoping it will then make contact with the hole on top of the vehicle plug

@alxman I heated up the small plastic tab and pulled it out a few mm. I noticed an improvement and the plug now stays, still loose and don’t really trust it. What a sht design!

The plug hasn’t fallen out once in the last week since I bent out the small tab within the holder, seems to have done the trick! Here’s my charging station, attempting the cleanest possible installation.
