My X5 2020, which is a pretty mature product, still has the occasional software problem. Done 2 resets over the last 4 years. As a former CTO/CIO I feel I can safely say after 40 years in tech I have never seen software app(s) other than simple ones, that were bug free. The reasons for this are best left for a day augmented by beverages on another forum.

JD Power and Edmonds are right about first year model gremlins, but how long Porsche have been working on it?
This model was meant to come out at least 2-3 years ago.

I expect they scratched a few things and started over a number of times during these years.

I agree it doesn’t look good but also don’t think they were building the same thing for all these years - I suspect a lot of back and forth.
