Big news! 4.35pm on Friday apparently porsche has updated the software on my car and fixed it!

Apparently I'm the first in UK to have it.

Picking it up Monday at 9am.

That's a great news indeed, BfG. My dealer said yesterday they haven't heard anything from Porsche. Kindly let us know by Monday whether this has been fixed. Thanks.

My dealership said my car will have technicians coming from Germany next week. They already applied some updates but full fix is not yet confirmed. The technicians will do more data collections and apply upgrades where necessary.

Same error here. Did not help to unbuckle and fasten seatbelt again… (My Macan 4 has basic ACC only, no Innodrive.) In addition I cannot activate Plug&Charge, activation of planned parking conditioning provides a server error in MyPorsche, but seems to actually activate anyway.!? The QI mobile charger also intermittently fails to charge phones. Booked for a service on tuesday.

Had this error for several days and different drives. Today it worked itself out, and functional again.

If you can provide your PCM version when you pick up your car, that’d be interesting info to have - so others can compare with what they have installed.

what’s makes you think it is an OTA?

if so has anyone received any prompts from the car to do the update?

I suspect some dealers use the term OTA thinking it means a software update. I think they don’t know what OTA really means.

That is what I was told. The mentioned that the fix was via the navigation system.

I think I‘ve understood the point.

Apparently, the actual fix is not a firmware fix, it’s just a new version of the data map which seems able to be installed OTA. My guess is that there were a problem with units / mph / kph in the data, or lack of unit/values.
This is my conclusion thanks to Audi Q6 forums.
Is there a way to know the data map version in the PCM (there is in the Q6 MMI)?
