I ran a cable from the usbc port at the center Console a long up towards the outside of the seat. The wiring is done in a way so it is non destructive. In case of warranty reasons. The iPads are on magnets. So they can easily be removed or turned into portrait mode.

Glued a magnet to the seat. Added a metal plate on the iPad side to create the bond. The cable holder is there to hold the cable in case I unplug the iPad from it
I ran the wire up on the side of the chair. Trying to avoid holes/drilling for warranty reasons. This way I can return it easily to factory look if needed.
Below I added magnetic usbc plugs to avoid breaking in case they get hit by feet (likely! knowing my kids)

This is so awesome, good job! If I had kiddos I'd do it!Added 2 iPads to the back. They power off when the car is turned off. And on when you turn on the cars dash board.
That is the coolest mod I have ever seen (apart from the glue part 
)
The only thing I can't figure out is how those cables stay so perfectly tucked-in the seat back recess, is it only for the photo?
I would imagine in a couple of minutes they would be dangling all over?

the cable and links vary from the plugs needed for the iPad that is used. I needed lightning plugs for my older 2 iPad airs. Here is the bottom portion
I picked a cable that is not fully black. More grayish. It had to be lightning on one side for me. If you need USB’c you can get plenty on Amazon. I think as I needed lightning and 180 degree I think I got those from Ali express. I will post if I find the link to the order. It’s a while back.
Bravo. Impressive. I will hope to try this for my kids at some point, if there is a reliable glue free version of this installation..

Actually both of them came off because I did not wait 72h for the glue (tape) to complete. And on one of them I even added glue enhancer. And on both I was able to take the glue of just fine without it leaving marks. (Goo be gone) is your friend for such situation.
