Bose vs Standard

I love my music - coming from a Q5 TFSIe with B&O system - you can tell the difference but it’s very minor in reality imo. Unless you a desperate for that very deep punchy base (the standard does have a decent base), or you always play high fidelity I think you’ll be fine .

For me I made the mistake of not adding the electric sound…

In the U.S., the Premium package includes the Bose sound system, so if you want ventilated 14-way seats then Bose is much more economical.

I am not in the US, we don’t have that package.

After reading a lot in the Taycan forum and others, I will probably go with the Bose. There is too much risk I regret it every single day. 90% of the configurations here have it equipped, so I would have a weird feeling of missing out.
The sub trunk seems to be of limited use anyway.

As mentioned in another thread, I’ve found the Bose system to be pretty disappointing, but it’s definitely much better than the standard system, which is (I think) unacceptably bad for a car at this price.

Hey

Anyone in here has already got their Macan with the Standard sound system? It used to be quite decent on the old Macan so I was wondering if that still applies to the electric?

i got mine ordered without as I much prefer the cargo space in the sub trunk but I am questioning the decision.
I mostly listen to radio and podcasts, so not really any high fidelity music and usually rather silent. I should be fine I guess?

Any opinion from real life experiences are much appreciated.

I recently took delivery of a Macan EV Turbo with the Bose system. It's okay, but only has Base and Treble adjustments... nothing for the Sub-Woofer.

For audiophile like myself, the Bose felt underwhelming. Lack of options and so-so sound quality made me feel Bose is basic sound system with sub and slapped with Bose stickers.
Haven’t yet heard the Burmester in Macan.

I did NOT option bose to save the space and I do have it on my Taycan.

Assuming the Macan's one is similar, there is a big evident difference in sound quality.

As soon as I got in the Macan for the 1st drive and switched on some music I thought I made a mistake...after one week of only using the Macan I am perfectly fine with it....so as usual you can get used to everything and think is ok

I’m the same, but coming from B&O in an Audi.

Yeah there’s a difference but it’s perfectly fine imo.
