Has anyone who owns the Burmester experienced issues with it? The Bose seems to cause issues from time to time like not having sound at all.

I would venture it's common need to reset the PCM occasionally to maintain operational readiness …

Never had any issues with it in just over 18 months of ownership

That has happened to me exactly once in the year Ive owned the car. Resetting the PCM by long pressing the volume knob didn't fix it. If I remember correctly I turned off the car, exited and it worked again when I came back in. It hasn't happened again since.

Thanks! So it seems that this issue is not directly related to the Soundsystem (Bose or Bumester).
