Car Wash - Won't stay in neutral

Went through a car wash today, put the Macan EV in neutral. It kept jumping back to park. Very dangerous, jams the car wash, worried that it will hurt the car as well. Curious is there a way to make sure it stays in neutral like Tesla does or is just another thing Porsche never considered?

Sorry to answer off the cuff, (I would have to go check to confirm which I can't do right now), but the one time I did try this (shifting to neutral), I got a message on the center screen asking whether I wanted to stay in neutral when the door was opened (I don't remember the exact wording); I tried it, and it did indeed stay in neutral when I opened the door (but I did not exit the car, for obvious reasons).

Thanks, I'll give a try and see if it works next car wash. It definitely didn't feel good when the car wash shut down while I was inside!

I’m glad that, with our local touchless wash, the car stays in one spot while a machine passes over it. Perhaps there is one like that close to you. I just keep it in drive with auto hold.

So I literally just finished washing my turbo and had no problem putting the vehicle in neutral. I did make sure to go in and turn off comfort access to ensure that the hood did not pop open, but I had no problems whatsoever.
