CarPlay WhatsApp messages no longer read out

Something odd has happened last few days, I am not sure if post iOS 18.5 or unconnected but WhatsApp used to read out my messages - no longer does. Tap WhatsApp and unread messages on the PCM and it brings up the message but doesn’t read it, just goes straight to ‘do I want to reply’

can’t work out if this an iOS, Siri, WhatsApp or other change?

Same issue here. I think is IOS related.

It can be temperamental at the best of times. Mine reads out my messages 99% of the time, but 50% of those have the music playing in the back ground at the existing volume, rather than the other 50% for which the ambient music quietens. Quite annoying as I then can't hear the message properly or dictate a reply. I think it's more a Carplay/WhatsApp issue than a Porsche issue.
