FWIW I have heated windscreen. I litterally moments ago checked my window sticker to ensure I actually ordered it, because I have yet to use it / figure out how to use it.

I was also confirming that I ordered the acoustic glass, because I can't tell the difference there either. Go figure.


My point is, you may not actually notice you are missing it.

Salespeople are human and a single typo of one letter or one number could result in the car arriving at our dealership being not what we ordered, nor wanted. And, as per below also a double check for me for my choosing the right options to help me avoid mistakes on my part.

After I got twice messed over many decades ago from a saleperson or dealer keypunch-operator making the ordering entry mistake and thus the vehicle in the showroom being different than my order (which the salesperson agreed with me on both cases), I always insist that I get a computer print out not of what is on the configurator room screen, but also later. Once a few days afterwards showing (and handing me) a print out what the dealership formally sent to Porsche or equivalent, and second and this is a nice advantage of the Porsche system, their giving us a freeze date and allowing trhe dealership to re-print out the order and sendi it to me before the freeze date — for each time for me to double and triple check not just their keypunching but again to help me avoid a mistake by my missing or selecting a single wrong option, e.g., a two-sided double check.

Looks like the Dealer modified the original Order To add an Option and then modified the original Order to add another Option. They should have modified the updated Order with the additional Option. The Dealer can confirm that it is their mistake if the changes requested were notified in writing (or at least, an acknowledged email).

in the UK, the Porsche Sales Agreement details what happens if the supplied car doesn’t have all the requested Options. If it is missing you can have the price adjusted down to take the change into account.

In the UK, there are some issues with reordering a car with the correct spec. Firstly, the price on the Configurator is probably higher now than previously by about £1,500 for each base Model (options are unchanged).

Secondly, it is also important to register a new Porsche EV in the UK before 1.04.2025 because the OTR price (being over £40,000) will incur a £410 supplement in later years two thru’ six. Previously, EVs were except from this Premium (Expensive Car Supplement) Tax.

FWIW, Macan ICE Byers will also find that the first VED Charge will be double for registrations from 1.04.2025, so either £4,680 or £5,490. For EVs the VED will be £10. With £55 to register a car with DVLA.

Hope you get it sorted, if you have some written confirmation it was their fault, there should be the option to walk away without loosing your deposit?
It would likely mean added to the next build slot but MSRP may increase if it's in a new build slot and Porsche increase their prices.
