I have a 2025 Electric, base moel.
Does the Macan have REGULAR cruise control? It seems to have adaptive, which works fine, but I've noticed it switching to regular, autmatically when theres no cars in front of me.
Is there a way to manually set it to regular cruise control?

In other words... If the car in front is going faster than your set max speed, it acts like regular cruise control... until you come up on slower traffic and it will then slow down and maintain your set distance.

There is a way to turn off assistance, where it always works like regular cruise control, if thats what you really want. If I recall correctly, pressing the button on the end of the cruise control stalk brings up a menu where you can control some of the drivers assistance features.

I'm curious why you would want to force regular cruise control. What situation would you do that?

In my mind the only difference between adaptive and regular/passive cruise control is that passive will let you rear end a slower car in front of you. I can't think of when that would be better.

The one scenario I can think of is if the adaptive cruise / camera system is offline because it got dirty and you're in the middle of nowhere, but you'd still settle for the old style cruise control.
