As this issue wasn’t being experienced until fairly recently I wonder if it as a result of the update (my thought) or the age of the battery. My car is booked in for 3 days mid-month and I hope they sort that and the random age Issue.

I asked why 3 days and they say that it will need that to reinstall/ install software.

With my Macan, which was purchased in October 2024, this started after the update I received in May 2025. Before the update, this never happened. The car did not use electricity when stationary and also displayed the consumption while driving accurately. After the update, the problems with the consumption when the car is stationary and the inaccurate display of consumption while driving began. Even after the next update I received in November, the matter was not resolved.

Hello, very good comments last few pages. Let me reiterate my status - I got one SW upgrade in early May 2025, had a long road trip with mostly rapid charges - no issues. Then the car started what we all report here - not reaching the target SoC during AC charge, losing SoC, etc. During another long trip it was especially messy, once misreporting SoC by 10% according to the charge station, losing 1-1.5% daily, having battery temp higher than the ambient in mild conditions. I had another SW update in October 2025 targeted directly at HV battery and BMS, they reported that they "reset" it, whatever that means. Not directly after that, but soon enough car returned to normal. I'm going to have another long trip, but will try to use AC charge overnight and at the destination, I expect it to return to erratic behavior then.

I thought there would be some additional posts on the subject now the ambient temps started to rise...
Since OAT went beyond 17-18° C (same inside my garage) there isn't even the slightest SoC decrease anymore, irrelevantly how much % remaining in my battery and also irrelevantly of My Porsche app usage as well. Additionally the automated and spontaneous battery heating by 5° C above ambient when OAT falls below 15-16 degrees has also stopped.
Most likely the latest software 28.13 introduces an automated feature to slightly warm the battery when ambient temps are lower than 15-16 degrees and obviously because of this the battery looses approximately 1% SoC/day.
Late MY'25 and MY'26 cars already equipped with the latest software 28.13 behave this way right from the start when conditions are met.The older cars MY'24 and early to mid MY'25 equipped with the previous software version didn't behave this way until the time they got the latest software version as well. That explains why there wasn't such a behaviour prior software update for cars exited the factory earlier than August 2025.The newer cars were doing it right from date 1 however it started to be obvious only when ambient temps went considerably lower than 15-16 degrees.
Most likely that's it!

For my last test run (after the bms calibration), I ran down to 32% with several daily SOC drops. At that point, the discharge stopped and it held 32% for days. My garage temperatures fluctuate during the day due to windows and sun, but overnight have been consistently the same.

I've just done a trip with 2 fast charges, and 600 miles over 3 days. Later this week I'll be able to leave the car for a few nights to see what happens once some balancing has been done.

After the end of the trip, and a slow charge back to 75%, the car did spend some time overnight at a lot higher temperature than ambient, and when I unlocked the car, it immediately fired up the fans to cool down. I hope that was some extra rebalancing going on that might stop the SOC drop from constant nightly rebalancing.

This trip may have also fixed the residual navigation SOC on arrival mis-match, as it got it exactly right for my home arrival once it recalculated after the last DC charge (It was wrong before that point though, luckily I added a bit extra)

With my Macan, the ambient temperature has no effect on the energy loss. Last year it did this even at temperatures above 20 degrees Celsius. If it happens once and not twice, it's completely random. I've only noticed that it happens more often when the battery is full, and less often when it's less than half empty. It's been doing this for almost a year after the first update. The second update didn't fix the battery drain either.
