I had this issue too, but since the update VR28.13 it has behaved itself and changed profile/seat position each time, although sometimes with a delay after I've got into the drivers seat.

Not usually parked underground, I'll have to test it when next out of cell range.

Also echo how long it takes to change driver profile, about 1 minute sometimes - what is it doing in all that time that take so much horsepower? Inefficient software most likely.

Spoke too soon, seat did not change back to my position over the weekend. Sat there frustratedly holding the '1' button on the door wondering how my £90k car struggles with what has worked flawlessly on most cars for the last 30 years.

Will resurrect the workshop ticket on this one for sure and bank some hours for the dealership. Honestly, Porsche needs to be punished for releasing cars in this state.

I still don't think the dependency is anything other than the key fob. The car unlocks instantly and so no time to wake up a connection to the cloud to retrieve settings. Changing profile on the PCM would require it and there is a notable pause whilst that process executes.
