Front (air) suspension cracking sound over speed bumps

I hear distinct cracking sound from front (air) suspension when driving slowly over speed bumps.
When wheels rolls over something is not smooth.
Rear suspension is dead silent.
Hoping to consult with the dealer.

Yes, the front suspension does make some noise over speed bumps. I really reminds me of new BMW suspension feeling disconnected over bumps.

You have noticed it as well?
My dealer said give it 1-2k kms and then if need be come for checkup.
I was worried they have not removed some suspension blocks used to secure car for transport but turns out they do not lock air suspension for transport.

It happened to me with my RR Evoque: it was like riding without suspension… and after 300 km they found out that the technician didn’t remove the blocks used for transportation… not a good thing (in fact I had a lot of suspension problem with that car….)

Update - dealer has quickly checked the suspension for obvious problems and it seems fine, scheduled me for extensive diagnostics next month.

I have narrowed the sound down to using brakes when crossing speed bumps or using brakes just before. If the car rolls for a while before crossing the speed bump it's silent. If you go over speed bumps with the brake pedal there is this distinct "cracking" sound. Anyone with this problem?

Just tried and at the moment I can’t reproduce your issue…

I had a similar issue with my EQS, dealer replaced stabilizer and it fixed the problem.

Quite possible the wheels are not torqued to spec. Right after a brake job I had this happen on another car due to the rotors being able to move. Wheel shifted that 1/2 ‘mm of play and sounded like the rotors were being crushed like ice. I had to torque the wheels to the 150f/lb spec and it went away. (Floating rotors)
