I’ve not had exactly the same issue, but I was woken at 11pm one night by the alarm going off whilst the car was in my garage at home. The system said the frunk was open (it wasn’t) so then the rest of the car wouldn’t lock. Several attempts at locking/starting/trying to open the frunk (sometimes it did, but other times didn’t)/turning off the car etc it finally recognised the frunk was closed, so the car locked. Repeated that debacle at 4am too when the frunk had opened itself and set the alarm off.
My dealer agreed to take it in that day as an emergency job (they logged it as a Porsche Assist job) and within half an hour of me driving away I had a notification via the app to say the alarm was going off
Turned out to be a faulty frunk lock, which they replaced. No specific cause - just poor equipment.
