I was impressed by the info available from the Porsche Connect API and used by this Porsche Insights project and decided to create my own Porsche iOS app.
The official Porsche app isn't bad, but it buries a bit of the info I really enjoy, and is also missing small iOS widgets. Anyway 24 hours later and I have it working pretty well. To Porsche's credit the API is pretty comprehensive and I have not really seen anything missing from the API that is surfaced in the official app. I have not yet tried testing interactive features like Direct Charging and Preconditioning etc. It's also super responsive and the data is at least as up-to-date as the offical app, a lot of that depends on your iOS app background refresh and widget timeline policies too.
We even have themes, turbonite logos as an option, and model names in Porsche script!
