Considering the macan is on a brand new platform. I wonder if Porsche equipped the car with Ultra Wide band to make it more secure from car theft ?
not sure if anyone knows. Would be nice if they made an effort on this.

They might have. Here's what I wrote in another thread:
Because of that I looked up the manual for a 2025 Macan 4S, and noticed it lists 2 different part numbers for keys. The second part number, PPE1C-433 is actually FCC certified for 2 frequency ranges, and the 2nd of those is UWB. The Central Control Unit also has UWB radios in it according to the manual. So hopefully Porsche will enable Porsche Digital Key at some point in future (it was listed as a feature in a couple of countries).
