Is this just an AI botch job, or is something missing from this car?

I'm not sure what to make of this listing on the Porsche Finder website. It looks like someone might have tried to remove the background on the photo, and it took half the car with it, and they didn't notice?

It looks like the front is missing a bumper, and the wheels are missing? But it's only got a few hundred miles and is priced like a whole car.

Also, it looks like it floats. I wonder how much the hover car option is.

Lol — just kidding. I'm sure it's a glitch in the code from a software update.

Just a rendering issue tied to the configurator. In a previous life, I worked on updating configurators (and creating their assets) for 2 major car brands.

Looks funny for sure but not much to it.

that just means the assets for the wheels failed to load/render - Iv'e seen it happen before - software has bugs…

Ah, I see the same issue showing for other recently added cars too now. That makes sense.

This happened on the Porsche site with my saved Configurations after the update to MY26. The MY25 saved configurations show up like this now in the MY26 viewer.

I have this bug in both the configurator as well as my My Porsche mobile app. Very annoying.

The configurator’s black front fascia mask regrettably comes and goes. I have seen it on the configurator perhaps 25 times over the past three months. Yet full renderings appear later.
