Issue with app connection with the car

I have the same issue, my app thinks the car is still in Belgium, I was there about 14 days ago. It's under investigation at the dealer.

Was this ever resolved?

My car no longer has a data connection, no 4G or 5G icon on the PCM.

What I noticed was the following. A couple of times since I took delivery back in October it seems the car got of the grid. The app can only see it when it last was on the grid. But in less than a day actually an over night thing it got back and things got back to normal
And the car always had the 5g connection so car was connected to network but app can not see it

Tried a soft restart and that fixed it temporarily and status updated. But now it's back to being out of date.

I wonder if it's a server issue as when I click to retrieve data pass - it says try again. However the 4G itself is working fine, car hotspot works and map updating on Google.

I wouldn't care but it's freezing cold here and liked being able to pre-heat in the mornings

There's definitely some glitchy stuff going on. I had an issue where my state of charge and TPMS values were out of sync between app and car. I could remotely turn on pre-heating, but had this odd out-of-sync issue. Yesterday, the issue spontaneously healed itself. Still can't do Plug & Charge and Apple Maps based EV routing, but my fingers are crossed those issues can heal themselves as well. To hedge my bets, I'm also keeping in close contact with a regional (North America) Porsche service rep to troubleshoot those issues.

I’m seeing exactly the same, the app won’t update, i’m unable to send a command to turn pre-conditioning on etc.. but data in apps is working - sounds like a backend issue.

I was just about to ask, has anyone else in the UK having issues with the app today, no longer connected and no controls working via the app.

I don't know if it's a different issue, but whenever I open the app on my phone, it says 'last updated X hours ago'. And that X hours is always the last time I opened the app.
And what I find is, if you keep the app open on your phone for quite a few seconds, it comes up as 'just updated'.
So, it seems a sync with the car and on the phone only happens when you open the app on the phone and keep looking at it for quite a few seconds for it to change to 'just updated' (if you don't look, it won't change )
I thought that was just normal.

In that case, it's specific to your case. I have no such issues.
Try resetting the system in the car by pressing the volume button for 30 seconds. If still no luck, perhaps better contact your dealership.

Mine says updated, but it has only updated from the porsche cloud, the car isnt sending or receiving - it still says I have 63% battery, it’s actually 21% after a long drive yesterday.
If I ask for details on my data pass it just says ‘try later’

Mine does not start preconditioning either.

I opened the car door, turned the car on, turned it off and then started preconditioning, exited the car, and locked it.

I’ll set up a daily preconditioning from now on until they fix this. At least I won’t be breaking doors and windows.

Funnily enough, after preconditioning started, I updated the app to precondition the car everyday at 7am, and sent the configuration.

As the car was already being preconditioned, it received it… go figure!
