Level 1 charger recommendations?

Want to pick up a level 1 charger for my turbo. I just want to have in the trunk just in case. Any ideas which one to buy?

recommend a Tesla UMC gen2 mobile charger and a TeslaTap - it can do L1 and L2 and is small, reliable, affordable, and has a wide range of plug adapters for North America.

Porsche's own document does not recommend daily usage of L1 charging

I've been testing my Level 1 charger included with the Macan and I have yet to get it to hit temperatures of greater than 30 C on the wires or at the plug. It is winter, but my garage is at 66 F with 47% humidity.

My interest in the Level 1 charger is that I don't want to use it at a friend's home if it is dangerous.

Where are you located? I may have an extra J+Booster I can sell you. Brand new. Accidentally ended up with two of them and based on my limited use, they work great.

I think it depends on the dealer as to whether or not they choose to include them or make you pay. Around here I sometimes feel like it’s the Wild West, lol.

North American Macan EV's are supposed to be delivered with

• PUC
• bag
• NEMA 5-15 power supply cable (L1 120V NA Household outlet)
• NEMA 14-50 power supply cable
• mounting brackets

the porsche EVSE is quite large/bulky vs. viable high quality alternatives.

I've been looking at alternatives because the part number of the included charger has some bad historical design and recalls. But I'm also testing the Porsche Level 1 charger solution in a controlled environment, and I haven't yet seen any evidence of problematic behavior.
