Lock / Unlock through app (latest version 14.0.1) misleading response.

I just tested to unlock my car remotely through the app. The car unlocked just fine, but the app says that this function is currently not available.
And it makes you believe that the car is still locked or unlocked. Yet it worked as intended. You may leave it alone not knowing the car is actually open. Even though the app shows as locked.
Maybe someone else can verify this behavior. I get the feeling the communication is one way and it seems to not send back the confirmation that its locked/unlocked.

hmm are you also on the latest version of the App ? 14.0.1 ?
i wonder if that is because of the new version or an issue beyond that

Yes I'm on the current Version 14.0.1. Hoping they do an update on the app soon to correct this. Lock/Unlock should be fairly basic stuff!

There's something amiss with that version number you're seeing. I have the same number within the app (at the bottom of the "Account" tab): 14.25.3 build 382. However, if you go into the App Store, it indicates that the latest rev (which I have installed) is 14.0.1.

Not sure what's up here.

In the app itself under the Account tab it shows v14.25.3 build 382 but the version in the Apple app store is 14.0.1

I have v14.25.3 build 382 iOS My Porsche app and I get the same behavior: the app reports that it can't unlock the car; the car is unlocked; and then, after some time, the car re-locks itself (probably because of comfort access settings and the inability to see a key).

I've seen that error before (using a prior version of the app, can't recall which one. It seems to happen intermittently because the next day, it worked fine. I count it as one of (many) software issues that the Macan EV/Porsche are having (Plug and Charge problems, clock not setting problem, etc.)

I ended up doing a factory reset and it solved this issue. Lock and unlock now working properly in the app. It also fixed my plug and charge issue as well as allowing the Automatic Date and time. Very happy the reset solved all of these minor but annoying issues. All is good and I’m loving my 4S
