P.s. the battery never gets hot, it always stays around 7-9 degrees centigrade,...
This is something I was looking at too.... I didn't have any temperature indicator on my previous Tesla so I don't know what the battery temperature was in this time of the year but I can not warm it up with or without AC.
When I planned a fast charge (or better when Porsche trip manager plan a fast charge) it warmed up till 28 deg C.

If you are getting AC but no/slow heat, it might be different. My symptoms were: if I switched the system to AC, it would immediately switch to Off.

Mine was caused by pinched refrigerant lines that resulted in all of the refrigerant slowly leaking out. There was a production run where they didn’t realize the final assembly of the frunk was causing the lines to pinch.

Here’s the bulletin. https://www.nhtsa.gov/?nhtsaId=11009865. Once there, click on the document Porsche authored document.

it should be a quick fix if they can get the new lines. Mine was complicated because the new lines came with a faulty sensor, so after installing the new lines, they had to first figure out the new sensor was bad and then decide to salvage the original sensor and retrofit it onto the new lines. They knew if they tried to order the new sensor I’d be without a car for a long time.

Yep.:., the only way to warm up battery is setting fast charge column as destination on pcm , with upper battery consumption as well….btw, active aerodynamics on front bumper could be necessary to warm up battery temperature,..:eek:r not ? Have you ever seen locked grill on front ?

First post on this forum.

I got my 2025 Macan Turbo mid-June 2025 and after less than 1000 km of ownership, the A/C started to show signs of weakness in 30+ Celsius temperature, a rather rare occurrence here in Canada.

Then noticed that the A/C was rather ineffective and apparently switching OFF automatically. Brand new Porsche with not even one lease payment completed and it's in the shop after waiting six months for delivery. WUNDERBAR!

If my issue is related to the bulletin referenced above, then I am happy that there is a fix but disappointed that this is due to to an identified production shortcoming; very very disappointed about Porsche.

This is my fourth Porsche in six years and probably my last. Toyota's, Honda's and Lexus don't have these kind of issues for â…“ of the purchase price.

I am really happy to read on forums such as this, that others take the time to relate their personal experience and go as far as attaching the service bulletin fix.

Thanks very much folks.

Update: The Porsche dealership inspected the AC system and noticed that the system was not charged/filled to capacity of Freon. The AC unit had 400 grams vs the required 1200g. The AC system lines were all cheched for leaks. For the past week or so my vehicle has been sitting at the dealership where the AC system is being tested to confirm full operaton and eventually rechecked for Freon leakage.

I should take possession of my Turbo on Monday if the vehicle is Freon leak free. If so, that leaves Porsche holding 100% of the responsibility for this major screwup. The dealership told me that they have no PDI checklist requiring that the Freon be checked before delivery.

Was the source of the problem that Porsche did not charge the AC system with a full load of Freon before shipping this Turbo with $40,000 worth of options to Canada?

It's either that someone forgot to charge it, or that there's a leak. If someone forgot to charge it, that sucks, but every factory in the world will have some mishap at some point. It's not like they *intend* to ship a car that's not ready.
For warranty service, they're supposed to supply you with a loaner so you're not without a car.
If they don't, then perhaps you can ask for some sort of adjustment to make you whole, although I have no idea what the specifics are for Canda...

There was some Freon in the system and the AC worked for the equivalent of approximately 1000km.
Isolated mistakes or errors with automakers happen but when they become repetitive reoccurrences as is being documented in this Forum, then it becomes very difficult to overlook and attribute to manufacturing misfortune. And this Forum is not all encompassing...there are potentially many other AC issues not being reported on social media.
My dealer is a brand new Porsche dealer and reacted with concern and professionalism; I have been given a loaner Macan 4.
I will follow-up with the outcome when my Turbo is returned to me.

Had this problem.

AC not working at purchase, drive off the lot. Returned for service a week later and was told no Freon, but also no leaks. Stopped working again in about a month. Returned for service, this time was told there were multiple leaks and a defective control unit.

It's been working for the past 1-2 months, I haven't put very many miles on it since second fix. We will see if it happens again.
