While the dash looks like its modelled on the Taycan, there are physical buttons for the heating! They clearly have thought about the feedback from various reviews criticising the lack of buttons on the Taycan. Would Porsche transfer buttons to the Taycan in due course? Personally hope not, I prefer cleaner lines with no buttons

The dash is much more akin to the 2024 Cayenne. Which itself is a riff on the Taycan.

With everything I’ve seen/ heard from the Macan EV/ Q6 E-Tron, this might actually be the best long distance travel EV there is. As much as I dislike SUVs, these cars might just have it all.
Good enough aerodynamics for high speed efficiency. 97kWh net battery (16% more than Taycan). 800V system, with better cooling than the Taycan for even faster charging.
So it improves on the Taycan‘s biggest weakness (battery capacity) and even on his biggest strength (charging speed). With a little efficiency gained from the motors, cooling, internal losses, this might get over 10% further than the Taycan + be as fast to charge 10-80%.
A lot of nice goodies also, like: 5 Degrees rear steering, new HD headlight, reduced charging losses, and this really great interior we see here.

Considering this is a Macan/ Q6, I don’t expect the prices to be too crazy either. Q8 can be specced for a somewhat reasonable price, so this might be an Allround amazing car.

The lower center console with physical switches look awesome and something I really wish my Taycan had

The center console storage compartment also looks a lot more simple to access than on the Taycan, where Opening it and getting stuff in and out is quite awkward.
