Macan EV Software Update delaying delivery!

(sorry for the irreverent reference to the movement against Epstein...) eight months of waiting and every week should be the good one but it never is... little transparency here in Turin...Italy

Sorry to read this @Colin the Best , yes dealers are not all the same and they don't have the same attention to customers (that it's a bad thing thinking about the brand....)

The only thing left: I can not see the SOC in the connect app and i can not use the AC via app. Strange, because tire pressure dn co works...

The app is the most disappointing aspect at the moment (but perhaps that is because the Tesla app is very rich in information and it is possible to use third-party apps that add more information).
The SOC also works “randomly” for me: from the app I see an SOC that is then different from the one in the car. The manual states that these two data could be different only during a trip and not when the car is stationary...
I really hope Porsche will improve the App....

Same here in France for my Turbo. The delivery is for this afternoon after 6 days of trying to download!

So my Macan 4 arrived and the SA scheduled delivery for tomorrow only to call me up today and tell me they cannot install the software...apparently nation wide (in Canada). I was surprised (disappointed). Any Canadians get their delivery complete yet with software install done or are you also on hold for software?

I finally picked mine up today in Vaughan. Had been at the dealership for 3 weeks while they navigated the software update.

I think once the dealerships figure it out, it’s smooth sailing. Mine was one of the first two cars to arrive so it was the Guinea pig in figuring out how to get and install the update without it crashing. I would think the rest that are waiting will be easy peasy. Fingers crossed for you.

And the wait continues. So it has been close to three weeks since my turbo has arrived to the dealership. It took them two weeks to get whatever the dealership needed to update the software of all their Macans. Then when my cars turn came the software update didn’t go through. After one week of going back and fourth between the dealership tech and Porsche Atlanta center they found that a controller in my car needed replacement. It is unknown if it will take days or weeks for the part to come. They are expecting some time by the end of this month!!!!

This is like a scene from nightmare on elm street 🫨. Hopefully I can dodge that experience. My SA is getting a brief from service tomorrow. Had to postpone PPF for now fun times. But at least I got to sit in one seeing the interior for the first time up close . The chalk beige is perfect and seats are amazing.

lol they would not let me see mine as they don’t want to spoil the reveal event lol..so I sat in the demo in the show room. This dealer got 4of 8 in for this year’s allocation.

I will probably cancel my order. I’m not comfortable with a car that can’t be delivered for whatever reason.
Beeing one of the first owners had some value, but now, it has more value waiting for a 2025 car with no delivery issues.
