Our Monroney sticker is dated 30 SEP 2024 and shows:
  • EPA range of 288 miles
  • 37 kWh / 100 miles
Porsche suggests usable battery is 95 kWh. If true:
  • 288 / 95 = 3.03 miles per kWh
  • 100 / 37 = 2.70 miles per kWh
The disconnect is either tests in different conditions or an error.

Our total consumption in the first 424 miles is between the two: 34.9 kWh / 100 miles or 100 / 34.9 = 2.87 miles per kWh. With a 95 kWh usable battery, that should be 2.87 x 95 = 273 miles. Our load was 500 lbs. Including luggage, speed was 80+ mph to stop & go (47 mph average ), temperature was 80 to 65 degrees, ~10 mph headwind, altitude change was nearly zero, and wheels were 22” design.

Our Turbo was delivered at PECATL with 19 miles showing - the brakes may have already been bedded. 😬 Brake regeneration was active the first time I looked.

All the data above suggests >300 miles range is highly likely in a Turbo with 22” wheels, two people, little luggage, and a steady 65 mph. Our tires are Michelin Pilot Sport All Season.

It would be interesting to see the kWh / 100 miles on other Monroney stickers. You can download yours in MyPorsche if you have your VIN.

Interesting. I'm at just under 500 miles now on my Macan4 on 21" wheels. Window sticker says 34 kW hrs / 100 miles. My actual consumption so far is 33, which includes the break-in miles. Last week's consumption was closer to 32. So I'm very happy.

What is your guess o meter predicting?

I’m averaging at 37kwh per 100 miles so pretty disappointed, normal driving on 20 inch and Turbo …
Granted a bit colder but nto extreem 12C … and many drives I did not use heating to see if it would lower my consumption

Would the difference be related to the 500 pound load and the 22inch wheels?

I thought I had read somewhere that the EPA numbers are standardized so likely based on one person and the "standard" included wheels which for the Turbo are the 21" Turbo Wheels?

I really can't do a range test on my turbo... There is just no way I can drive it in eco range mode when I have so much fun available, my electricity is free anyway so it's just tyre cost at this point
