They take your phone away at the Porsche factory tours. No picsWhere was your phone?
All the PTS 911's are painted at the Taycan paint shop. The regular colour 911's being done at the older 911 factory.- The only moving production was the paint shop. But from the 5 cars I saw go through, all were 911s. No Taycans. The tour guide said that normally 1 out of 10 cars in the Taycan paint shop are 911s, so this was unusual.
I should add that that^ is because it’s a museum; if it were a contemporary showcase, it’d say “we like to sell limited edition models. A lot of them.”The Mercedes museum tells a story. The Porsche says “yeah, we like to go racing. And win. A lot. ”
Current PCM (based on MIB3) runs on QNX7. Or, more specifically, it runs on AGL (Automotive Grade Linux) in a QVM running on QNX7. The Taycan PCM is not running Android nor Android Automotive. That is what it is stated. But not sure the present PCM runs on Android. Thought that was a home cooked one.
Really no frunk ? For a dedicated EV platform ?No frunk too bad but the head-up display is very complete, with augmented reality and has a significantly larger size
CCS2 for most of the rest of the world.
I guarantee I've seen a shot of the PCM where you can clearly search based on brand. Just spent twenty minutes trying to find it, but no such luck. It's definitely something I saw, though. Some better charger filtering – though no obvious sign of "IONITY" only option yet – maybe its just a scroll down away.
