I'm glad to see that this thread has spurred some conversation and further articulation of what the My Porsche app can do. In that spirit, let me address the concerns you raise...1. Reliable. In 10 years of owning the Tesla I was never logged out. Porsche app randomly logs me out
2. Apple Shortcuts support
3. Siri supoort
4. Car key support (no need to use a physical key)
5. Apple Watch
- Can't speak to this. Time will tell.
- Apple Shortcuts is supported and includes the following actions...
- Ambient Light (turn on/off, set color)
- Climate Control (turn on/off, raise/lower, hot/cold)
- Climatization (
not sure how this one works...see my post below; I figured this out and it’s super easy) - Driver Massage (turn on/off)
- Passenger Massage (turn on/off)
- Radio Action (turn on, next [station maybe?])
- Siri is supported,
both directly andthrough Shortcuts - Car Key Support is missing (fingers crossed we'll see it at some point)
- Apple Watch is supported and includes the following actions/information...
- Lock/unlock (action)
- Start/stop climatization (action)
- Tire pressure reporting
- Vehicle security status (vehicle locked/unlocked, doors closed/open, windows closed/open, panoramic roof closed/open, tailgate closed/open, front hood closed/open, parking lights off/on, electric parking brake active/inactive)
- Charging status (level of charge and charging plug connected/not connected)
- Total mileage
- Trip data (since start, since charging, total)
- Vehicle security status (green check or not)
- Charging plug connected/not connected
- Battery state of charge
- Range on current charge
- Total mileage
Happy to see Porsche add to this over time, but as a first time EV owner, this is great stuff to have.
