Has anyone had it where the Ohme Home Pro app won’t show current SoC of car?

I have unlinked and relinked the Ohme / Porsche API to no avail.

TIA

ummm - not sure Macan supports that…

in north america the charging protocol SAE J-1772 does not support battery SOC as a piece of data from car to the EVSE…so it's "not a thing" that can be displayed by the EVSE

now the Taycan will show this data (battery SOC) when charging with a Porsche Mobile Charger Connect (PMCC) - but it only does that with the PMCC because the PMCC and the Taycan handshake with each other and recognize that they can do an enhanced charging protocol from the ISO repertoire…there are very very few EV's that support this ISO protocol that are shipping in North America…

when briefly testing my PMCC w/Macan EV I noted there was no battery SOC % shown by the PMCC - so that means for what ever reason my Macan did not "upgrade" the charging session to an ISO protocol session where this data is available to the PMCC/EVSE…I've not done further testing, but those are my results to date.

Battery SOC as part of the charging protocol is "hit/miss" as to if the EVSE and EV support it - and it requires both for that information to be displayed. To date I've not seen my Macan provide that information even to a charger supported by Porsche which will display it…I also happen to know the Audi eTron SUV does not show battery SOC % when charging with a Porsche PMCC/EVSE…

my conclusion is therefore: there is not wide support with in VW/Audi/Porsche (or even awarness) for this addition ISO standard - and they probably qualitifed/shipped the car only confirming it supports the 'basic' charging SAE/ISO standards - vs. the enhanced ISO standards where more meta-data can be provided…

but honestly I don't know factually what the Macan Supports, and finding an authoritative source will probably be difficult - since this stuff is super wonky - and I can't even get porsche to agree to suppor their own published charging specification of 11 kW in North America.

now all this is from my North American perspective, and I know you're UK based - but the level of charging protocol support could be similiar - with basic vs. enhanced charging protocol support…

A few relinking of the Ohme app has resulted in the SoC matching that of the My Porsche & Car SoC so I think it might have been an API glitch.
