Outside Temperature Display - Slow To React

Has anyone noticed the outside air temperature is very slow to react after period of parking.

This morning it was about 2.5 degrees c on the drive to the office.

Vehicle then parked in the sun / ambient temperature all day. Real OAT was circa 14 degrees c.

On start up, the car still displayed this mornings temperature and it took about 5 mins of driving for the correct temperature to be displayed.

I think that is done on purpose, something about systems over reacting and becoming unstable. 5 minutes is about right for other brands.

It’s common to many brands. It usually takes about 1-2 miles driving before my BMW X6 adjusts the temperature correctly.
Of course, it may take longer over there as cars seem to behave weirdly in the UK
