Power Steering Plus - anyone optioned

There’s alot of coverage around the benefits optioning RWS in manoeuvrability etc, any experiences with “Power steering plus”? Looks like just abit of software coding but curious as to whether anyone has it and would recommend

I compared the loaner without this option to my car with this option and honestly there is not much difference. I would even go as far as to say the steering precision was a bit better without this option.

I do tend to agree that Power Steering Plus isn’t really important on this car compared to a 911 (This can be argued that it removes the "sporty feeling" as well on a 911). However, I want to reiterate what you already mentioned in your post: definitely option RWS. It feels like a whole different level compared to the other loaners I tried without it.
The only caveat is that, if I remember correctly, you can’t order RWS without also adding Power Steering Plus, so just keep that in mind.

Absolute no brainer. Tick the box.

Speed sensitive and top notch (as per any Porsche).

Should be standard.

Ordered it for mine. Planning on keeping the car for a few years and as I’m getting older….

Power steering plus supposedly
dynamically adjusts steering assistance based on speed, such that it provides more assistance at low speeds (easier parking and manoeuvring) and a sharper, more direct feel at higher speeds.

However, it is conspicuously absent from the GTS, which Porsche describes as the sportiest and most driver engaged of the line up, which tells its own story.
