For the first two months with my Macan 4, I received no error messages. In the last two weeks, I have seen two. They dismiss and do no return after a power down period. Has anyone else had this? Also, I have no idea what 'visit workshop' is referring to. Dealer?

From everything I have seen in this forum: the only errors you should worry about are the persistent ones. If it haven't seen this error again after a power down it was likely a glitch!

Error 1: Assistance systems limited is common if sensors are dirty or obstructed. I would wash and dry the car and if it persists then it means you have a sensor issue not communicating with the Assistance module, which is not good, if it has to do with Warn and Brake feature which is automated braking.
Error 2: There is something wrong with the E-Sound (different from Sports Sound) which is standard sound required by law to notify anyone around that there is a car coming, since EVs are not loud enough to be heard. Visit workshop is Porsche's way to saying, visit the Dealer.

For #1: completely agree, snow, dirt, sometimes water/rain... this occured on the ICE macan's 2021-2023 as well. I had this during a snow storm.

#2: haven't had this issue yet.

if it continues (and the car is clean) it may be a programing issues. i had several warnings (not that one) and the car had to be reprogramed at the dealer, twice

I’ve seen them both, once. They’ve never returned. I’ve seen other messages too that have never come back.

Another member taught me about the “5 minute cycle”. If you see a message, turn off the car and walk away (with your key) for 5 minutes. Upon return, if it’s just a glitch, the message will be gone. The 5 minutes away has something to do with the car resetting all errors after 5 minutes. Then, when it boots, it checks everything and hopefully finds nothing.

It happened to me... five minutes ago. I just entered in the car and I have got the same errors. Just turned it off and on at it was gone...

Had my first error yesterday after 1 month and more than 2000km.
When I entered the car at work, I had a yellow warning (on the most right tube) that the left side blind spot for the mirror, lightbars in the doors etc. is not functioning and that service is needed.

I drove home, could not change the yellow warning, could not select anything else and indeed when cars were passing me on the left no lights in the mirror or door was working.

I arrived at home locked the car, after 5 minutes went back and the error was gone. This morning also no errors at all.

Hi, in the manual (europe) for charging if there is a charging error to reset the system it says remove charging cable shut car lock and leave for five minutes. This does seem to allow reset and clear.

I’ve found much to my and a Porsche Assistance technician that even with a high voltage system fault error (yellow/amber coding) the error is quickly cleared from the Notification Centre (few hours before technician arrived and car had been left locked). On speaking with the Porsche workshop after a week in their possession no direct cause was found and I was told there were a plethora of errors stored ….. as is not unusual with a new vehicle and platform. Not helpful.
