A (rather) happy owner of 2026 Turbo version for the last two weeks. Two days ago the app has started to show "Privace Mode active" although I don't recall to have made any changes in the PCM (appart from syncing Spotify app in the PCM to my Spotify account.

When I sit into the car and the phone connects to the car, the app start showing again all required info. But when I leave the car, it doesn't anymore.

In parallel to that, the PCM has stopped turning on when sitting into the car. Parking cameras are properly showing on the central screen but no other info from PCM neither in the central screen nor on driver's screen.
After doing15-20sec reset, all returns to normal.

Anyone experiencing the same?

Sorry you're experiencing this. Sounds like you need the latest update. I've had one PCM issue after another, had the latest update yesterday now car is full of hard faults. My Macan 4EV has been in shop often. Car completely died 6 weeks ago and need a new Central box CJ26. Read the forums, tons of issues with the Porsche EV platforms. Wanted to love my dream car, but now It's a concern though I Knew as an early adopter these glitches will happen. Porsche dealers do not have the trained techs, sales[persons, or managers.

I think it associates a user/settings separately for every physical and digital key, with the default being connectivity off. Is it possible you grabbed a different key fob or it unlocked via your spouse’s digital key?

Privacy is easy to miss in settings because you have to scroll past the bottom of the screen to see it.

It seems to be a problem with your profile not loading. As beez said, are you using a different key to normal ? If not, then is the car logging into your profile or is it showing guest. You can easily verify if you’re logged in with the correct profile - select seat position 1 and see if it moves to the correct position

You may need to manually login with your user id and password and see if that loads all the correct settings.

As far as the Privacy Mode issue goes, that just happens randomly, across all vehicles connected to the Porsche App. Has been doing this to me since my 2020 Cayenne. It is usually an issue on PCNA’s end, and will rectify itself eventually. It is annoying, but if you do not have privacy mode turned on in your vehicle, then I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
Black PCM is a glitch in the vehicle itself, had this issue with my ‘23 Taycan (would happen while driving) and an update eventually fixed it. It is annoying, but this has happened in every make of vehicle I have owned that has screens (Ford, Mazda, BMW, Audi, Porsche, MB) and is usually more to do with all the tech in a vehicle than anything else. I would still contact your service department to see if they have a fix for it.

I am able to accesswith the key fob (just one as the other is put away permanently), my iPhone and my Apple Watch. So technically all should be the same PorscheID.
After a new soft resets and log-ins the glich has disappeared after a couple of days. Let’s see if it will return.

A “funny” thing possibly related to that. A week ago I took a 100 km drive one way away from home taking only my iPhone with me. After leaving and later coming back to the car, the iPhone opened the car nicely but car didn’t want to drive due to… no key in the car. I tried to put it into different places in the car but no difference.
What eventually help was leaving the car, locking it (this worked), then unlocking and miraculously all worked. Moral of the story - don’t leave good old key behind.
