there is vehicle if info passed to charger as part of either CCS or mods required as part of network access agreement - in any case it’s a fact that tesla can filter cars by at least manufacturer…VW/AUDI/PORSCHE are not the only vendors that have been blocked until the agreement is formal and finalized

i got a nasty gram from EA once for using my Porsche free charging with my son’s Tesla - so EA “knew” it was not a Porsche Taycan charging
and this is legal? no taxpayers money used to build the charger network?

Why would it be illegal? They need to know who is plugging into their network to know how/what to charge. It's a private network and they can use whatever information they see fit (barring privacy/discrimination laws) to operate their busines.

Electrify America was built and is owned by VW. It is part of the penance they agreed to in the wake of the DieselGate emissions scandal. No tax dollars were spent on it.

Sorry, I'm an idiot. :headbang:

that is hardly the point. of course they need billing info but to discriminate a brand?

i am talking about tesla. as far i know a lot of taxpayers money went into building their network. how can they prohibit certain brands from using it?

Does anyone have experience with any supercharger to CCS adaptors for the Macan 4 EV? I purchased one on Amazon but am reluctant to use it until I gather some first hand knowledge. Our dealer service and parts had no knowledge of any aftermarket adaptors and Porsche has not released one. Thanks.
You don’t need any adapters. Tesla superchargers from V2 all goes with regular CCS.

not true for North America

non-Tesla's in North America using J-1772/CCS1 shaped plugs (and charging standards)
North America is "moving" towards NACS/J-3400 Tesla style physical plugs
because of this J-1772/CCS1 native vehicle's require a physical adapter to plug-into North American Superchargers…

and North American Teslas require a CCS1 adapter to plug into non-Tesla DCFast chargers…

this is different that Europe where the EV charging plug was regulated from the outset…to be the same physical shape…

this is all detailed here…
