Suspension thud or sound

Have 2024 turbo ev have on it 27k miles since Oct 2024 I noticed a thud or sound from front suspension which might have been there from whenever I took delivery but kind of seemed okay or normal. I don’t know why it is bugging me more now or I am noticing it more or it got worse with time and driving. It is a suspension sound which has some for of looseness nature however I don’t feel any looseness or have any issues at all while driving other than feeling or hearing it. Only noticeable on slow speeds when i drive over any slight elevation or bump
Has anyone had or heard of such a thing

Might be some other thing but first check this out.

TL;DR Porsche says it's normal for o 100k EUR car to have "angling, knocking or tapping noise when driving over uneven road surfaces on the front axle" which is absurd but it is what it is.

Also it's not present in 2026 models so they fixed whatever it was. So in case of 2024 model you are s*** out of luck.

I'm facing the same issue as well, where you hear some loose and not so subtle knocking sound from the front suspension when going through uneven surface. This is different from the so-called "anti-dive" features, where there's a loud thud when going through speed bump at low speed. I've highlighted this to the service centre twice now but there seems to be no solution to it.

Sometime it's "cracking" sound, sometimes it's "knocking" sound, sometime you can feel like something had hit the suspension. All and all this is an embarrassment for Porsche, I've had it with many loaners I was given and I cannot understand how can you sell cars - any cars - with this and tell customers to basically f** off.

I also have a knocking sound that started about 1 year after delivery of my turbo (10.2024). The car is now since 3 weeks in service after I got brushed off with "it's normal". They attached some sort of microphone on the suspension and going back an forth with Porsche for a fix.

In my case it's only the front right that produces this noise. I can go over a speed bump - slowly - with only the right side of the car and hear the sound the moment it hits the front right wheel, dead silent on the back, and also silent when I repeat the same with the left side.

I've attached2 recordings: 1 the isolated noise and 2 the full recording for context.Even if it were "normal" it's a horrible sound and sounds broken. I hate to drive in the city on bad roads. On highways that problem is not noticeable.

I'll keep you posted what the resolution was/will be

This is the way Porsche describes how to check whether the noise complained about is caused by the anti-dive function.

In the following driving situation, the noise is caused by the anti-dive function:
• Approaching obstacles such as road edges, speed bumps at approx. 40 km/h (25mph)*
• Actuate the brake slightly and leave it applied (light pedal pressure to reduce the speed in such a way that the obstacle is crossed at approx. 20 km/h (12mph
• Release the brake quickly immediately before the obstacle and roll over the obstacle

@TomekGnomek Tomek, must be a specific type of speedbump for the sound to be heard or just passing over any type of speedbump,road bump or road physical anomaly will make the sound audible?

Any speedbump or road imperfection (like a pothole) will do.
Some make it worse than others but key is it happens after breaking.
