Update: The "NACS DC Adapter" link/tab has shown up in my Owners Manual within the app today.
Vehicle > Vehicle Details > Owners Manual > Charging Equipment > NACS DC Adapter > Operating Manual > Five chapters of information.

the adapters are passive - no active electronics - any adapter should work with any CCS1 vehicle - the Lectron one's are well tested and more importantly they have been iterated on and improved based on actual field experience- a lot of testing pre-release for Ford/GM and other's - and continued improvement after release as more customer data/experience was gathered. I'd trust Lectron not to screw this up - but the Porsche logo is pretty!!!

TLDR; - invest in a high quality well tested one - the Porsche one should be excellent (they will source it from Lectron one of the best adapters if not "the" best Adapter)

400-1000V @ 200 or more amps - yeah - do not wimp out on this particular device for your $100K+ vehicle.

I agree the adapters are passive and Lectron gets good reviews. The biggest question is which adapter will satisfy our warranty. Saving a little money only to have Porsche void a warranty is not worth it to me. Where did you find the estimated price of the Porsche adapter?
That said, I have been using a Tesla Tap Mini for home charging with my Tesla Gen3 AC charger because there is no Porsche approved adapter.

That's not exactly true, for example Ford provided an adapter that was PRODUCED BY TESLA and that adapter was recalled and now they are providing a non tesla produced adapter...
So it all comes down to testing and rushing things to customers, in this case it's Tesla fault and i guess Ford paid for that fault...

I have been driving Porsches for 30 years. You are right, parts are never cheap. The cheapest part I ever bought was a $100 replacement of the starter motor cable for my 2006 911S. It was originally totally undersized and you couldn’t start a hot engine! Porsche made the replacement part cheap. Nine hours in my garage to replace it.

that's not the electron - notice the flared edge where the NACS cord inserts and the locking mechanism is completely different - and the J-1772 end has the "AC" pins which are absent from the Lecton/Porsche models…nothing about that unit bears any resemblance to the Lectron unit.
