I think I’ve got the right replacement for my Audi SQ7, but not my Macan 4. I stumbled upon some cool info: all the Macan EV, Tycan, and Cayenne EV models coming out in 2026 will support Apple CarPlay Ultra. I’m just not sure about the older models.

After seeing its implementation in Aston Martins, I think I’m okay with skipping Ultra. And I’m not so much an Apple fanboy as a fanman.

They should have done the larger main screen seen here (top before the fold) but kept the hvac controls like the Macan, with buttons. Not that I use them much.

the passenger screen is too much, if you ignore that then the interior looks more reasonable. Hopefully it is an option or looks nice when no passenger is there.

The My Porsche app highlights the new model and shows the front of the car. I agree that the Macan EV more closely resembles the classic 911 look.

I was thinking the same thing! I believe the Macan has a nicer front. And, I am also not convinced about speed triggered rear side blades.

I see some physical control for (possibly) HVAC at the bottom of the flow screen - not as many as the Macan, but hopefully some controls.

Good video. How can the price not be insane on this one, haha. He mentions at the start that they will be assembled in Hungary. Labor cost savings maybe?
