Tilt mirrors down when reversing

It only works with the right mirror. Verified with the manual, my dealer and in real life.
I followed these steps.
+ R
+ click on the button to adjust the right mirror
+ make your own adjustments
+ click on the button to adjust the left mirror (but without changing anything) or change to D

that’s all

Works on nearside (passenger side) mirror only.

Car must be stationary before starting the procedure to set.

Been on Porsches with Driver Memory or 14/18-way seats for 10+ years.

Depending on model and options you may not have the feature.

Turbo, memory seats, 18 way, stationary etc. all ticked. Maybe I’ll get the dealer to do it for me - I’m fitting rear/back cameras in 2 weeks.

Sounds like a plan then.

Ordinarily a simple task to set (must be in R before tilting the mirror to set the kerb view to your preferred adjustment and the option ticked in PCM to perform automatically when R is selected). I would also store the setting to the key using your preferred memory button.

Storing the setting is the key!!!!!

also, it takes a little while for it to readjust as you drive forward.

It works now!!

and works in my 911 targa too!

It will stay tilted for around 9 secs If you move forward it will reposition straight away.

Yes I also got it working after a bit of tinkering!

I’m pretty sure this is working with my near side / passenger/ left mirror…

will confirm tomorrow for you - in other news I’m just onto the insurance as someone has driven down the right had side of the car scuffing it all… 4 days into owning it.
