It's just based on the country's regulations. The US and UK require it for safety. The reason air suspension is standard in the US is the lift height is required to meet SUV standards here.

Porsche would rather everything be an option. They only make things standard because countries force them to.

The option was not originally standard in the UK it was an option. Only when the car went to MY25 did it become standard along with boot 230v socket. Basically I paid approximately £300 for the option but the car has been delivered without it even though it was specified.

I think it is standard in Europe but only in Turbo, in the rest you have to pay for it. These details do not make Porsche great. It is not a whim like having the logo illuminated, it is for safety.

nah, i configured a 4 and it was listed as standard. but the OP is saying it's standard now...wasn't before. but i guess that doesn't matter since the location in question is DR

but this is the reason i regularly check the configurator to see what changes
