Anybody order 22" wheels with summer tires? which ones did you get?
There are apparently several different Pirelli Scorpion all season tires. My Macan 4 came with "Scorpion MS" tires which are not the same tire as the one you are picturing (apparently a lot of Model Y's come with these tires, so I presume they are an EV tire, or come in an EV flavor). I have not challenged these tires much, but I can say they have an unpleasant, loud, singing resonance on asphalt at almost precisely 55 mph indicated. It's very specific, and disappears below 54 and above 56 indicated, so I try to avoid exactly 55 indicated. The problem is, when using the cruise control, when adjusting up or down to match a 55 mph speed limit, I frequently end up at exactly 55 indicated and then have to adjust up or down from that (and yes I realize that 55 indicated is really about 52-53, so I can adjust upward to match the speed limit). Odd to me that this would have been acceptable to Porsche.I just heard from my SA that my 4S has arrived at the dealership and has 20” Pirelli Scorpion all season tires. I previously preferred Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 tires on my Tesla Y.
@toothsurgeon @quaxon How you like the 20” Pirelli A/S tires, particularly in terms of ride and road noise?
I have no concerns. I may be less picky than others, though.I just heard from my SA that my 4S has arrived at the dealership and has 20” Pirelli Scorpion all season tires. I previously preferred Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 tires on my Tesla Y.

Do you want the highest performance all seasons that may wear quickly, or all season tires that last longer or are optimized for snow/wet traction? Or do you care, just want a tire with an all season that rides the best and quiet. So what tires would be acceptable for a 21 inch wheels. If I decide to swap what all season tires would offer the best ride?
Yeah, it appears the 20” 4S wheels are being fitted with Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus tires as well as the newer Pirelli Scorpion MS tires with no warranty which are specifically made for EVs. After reading reviews, I’d prefer the P Zeros but won’t know which one I’m getting until I pickup my Macan on December 26th.There are apparently several different Pirelli Scorpion all season tires. My Turbo came with Pirelli P-Zero's. Michelin does make the rear size, 295/35R22 but unfortunately apparently not the front size, 255/40R22. At least I can't find it anywhere. When/if Michelin makes both the front and rear sizes I will switch immediately regardless of the wear state on the Pirellis.Anybody order 22" wheels with summer tires? which ones did you get?
Thanks for the data point. It seems that Pirelli P zero elect and Goodyear F1 super sport are the only ones that are available and shipping for the summer spec. A pirelli Corsa is an option with the RS spyder wheels for the track/extreme spec if configured as such, but a little unnecessary for me.My Turbo came with Pirelli P-Zero's.
