Very cold air around front driver's seat/door panel and lower area of center console (where seat buckles are)

Hi Folks,

It is still cold here in Montreal, and I noticed the last few drives that there is very cold air flow around the lower area (seat cushion) of the front seats. This is both sides, with air flow from the door panel, and also on the center console side around the seat belt buckle and there the center console and carpeting meet. Even when I come to a stop, there is still air flow. The rear passenger heating was turned off. It is quite cold so it is either air conditioned air or outdoor air. Basically the panels and seat cushion are very cold, while the dashboard is warm with my temperature settings at 20 Celsius. It's like the entire bottom of the car is opened to outdoor air. I am not charging my phone using the wireless charger, and I do notice forced cold air flowing in their to (I assume) keep a charging phone cool. Anyone experience this? It's a noticeable air flow, and I am only partially sure that it gets worse when driving faster but it could me just imagining another massive quality issue with this car.

I've noticed this once too,in fact my wife was kept complaining throughout all of our trip that her leg was freezing cold because of it.No matter how high the heating was set the very cold air continuously was coming out but difficult to really tell from where exactly.Even with the blowers turned all the way down there was still cold air blowing.It was subsided only when I turned off all climate activity through climate control from the center console.
I also thought it must be the mobile phone charger cooling system involved but I was informed that it's activated automatically only when the charger is in usewith a phone in place.
Never happened again though...!

Ok very interesting! I tried this yesterday (full Off via PCM including the rear), and it seemed to stop the phone-charging bin air. It was only a short drive, so I will keep an eye on this. Thanks for the quick response and potential fix!
