Wallbox Pulsar Plus - not liking Macan 4

For NA, the latest firmware version for Pulsar Plus is 6.6.15, released 9/25/24.

There was also a release in Dec 2023 addressing a similar issue:
Rel 6.1.12

• Fixed a bug that could cause the charger to go to error when plugging it to some car models.

I have a Pulsar Plus Wallbox and will be getting my Macan next month, interested to know whether this is a Wallbox hardware issue or just old firmware that needed updating.

My Firmware was updated when this problem originated … no improvement to allow timed charging schedules so only “direct” plug in possible and hence less scope to charge at low overnight rates unless I want to get outta bed 12.30/01.00am to plug the Wallbox Pulsar plus to Macan

Same issue my side. On the same wallbox firmware version (5.17.87) and can’t get the handshake between Macan and Wallbox Pulsar Plus (22kw) so that scheduled charging operates with Octopus Inteligent Go tariff. Annoying! Has worked fine on all my other EVs. Have raised it with Wallbox support and await useful feedback.

Wish you luck … my approach to Wallbox 3mth ago ended in “nought’ … they offered a special price to buy a replacement after 7-10 days of experiments, updates, resets, etc.
We now manually set up direct charge around 22.30/23.00 any evening the Macan needs charge and switch the car to direct charging before plugging in …

That’s pants and not a practical solution for me. I’d be shocked if they are not working on a fix for it. Unless they see it as an opportunity to force new hardware purchases which would be pretty low.

interestingly my installer advice was “be careful with following their advice as your Wallbox will be out of warranty” … I’m not suggesting there’s anything malicious with their support more a case of a throwaway commodity product approach when they get a bit puzzled!
Meanwhile my Taycan charges on timed overnight low tariff profiles via the same charger without issue.
