The time showing on the center display (top left corner) frequently is incorrect, one hour behind. Then it switches to the correct time and then back again. I cannot find any clock setting. What is the problem?

The car must be configured to set the time automatically, but receive inconsistent time information. I believe the time comes from the cellular network, and one or more of the cells appear to be sending the wrong information.

Someone on Rennlist reported that his car didn’t make the DST switch, whereas mine did. Verizon’s network seems to have issues.

I bet it must a Porsche issue. Cell networks are very proven tech nowadays. And usually time is synced from NTP servers which are not part of telco network.

Interesting to see if Porsche is forced to do a OTA update :)

My sync has been greyed out after resetting the vehicle to get plug and charge to work. Dont want to reset again to possibly lose plug and charge and have to reset my garage buttons.. have been manually changing which is kinda crazy for a 2024 electric vehicle..

Same issue here. Normally wouldn't be too bothered with an hour time difference on clock but it seems to have thrown the Departure time setting out of wack as well.

For example:
  1. Actual time is 7AM and Porsche time shows 7AM.
  2. I have previously set the departure time in the morning to 7AM and this matches both the Car and the App.
  3. Everything works.
Daylight savings occurred this weekend.
  1. Actual time is 7AM and Porsche time shows 6AM.
  2. The departure time on the car shows 7AM and the departure time on app shows 8AM
  3. I have no idea how to read it lol

Mine didn’t update automatically even though I have it switched on. I switched to manual and sprung forward 1 hour. Switching back to auto falls back 1 hour. I have to leave it on manual.

I'm starting to wonder about 2024 model vs 2025 model software, as I haven't seen any of these kinds of quirks on my 2025.

Same problem on mine. Clock hasn't made the daylight savings change yet so it's still running an hour behind on Automatic. Changing to manual and then back to automatic resets it back to an hour behind. 2025 model, also got it just 2 weeks ago.

Same here . mine did not switch when DST kicked in. I had to toggle automatic to manual and back and forth a few times. Quite annoying. When you expect the heat to be on that morning and it is cold in the car.

I just left mine on automatic and lived with incorrect time for a day or two and it auto reverted back. Works fine for me now
Like previous poster said you may just need to leave on automatic long enough for it to pick up whatever it needs to pick up from cellular owners. Just a guess on my part
