Will all macan get the GTS PCM update that gives you charging speed based on the battery's temp?

It is incredibly unlikely, actually almost impossible that the Cayenne is using Android Automotive 25Q4. Especially legacy manufactures are not moving _that_ fast. It's not even possible in respect of timelines of homologation and market introductions.

I'd be surprised if any Macan or Cayenne Electric is using something newer than AA12 or AA13 - most likely they all run on the same base as it's all PPE.

I assumed based on functionality needed for Cayenne and went backwards. Of course, all the features needed can be developed in house and ported on any Android version. It’s open source after all.

Computer manufacturer doing this all the time, but I agree, it’s risky for car manufacturers. Don’t forget, date is golden master release. Just wonder how they are driving curved display. Implementation looks really cool and extremely functional. This would be a lot of work unless manufacturer provided dedicated driver. Could not find any information about actual version number though.

If anything they back ported 1 feature to just get by. I think there's near zero chance it's running AA13+, would guess it's 12+backport feature.

Are you expecting better because it's a Porsche? 50% over three years is a perfectly normal depreciation curve, even for ICEs.

Of course there is. That's human nature. I've owned three electric Porsches, and they've been largely trouble-free. I didn't go online every day telling people they're fine, but I certainly did when I had an issue, however small.

Yes I do. Macan ICE and Cayenne ICE are around 30-35% in three years. 911 even better.

The VR28.13 update got the 2024/25 Macan PCM platform up to this Android 12 version. I'd love to see what the 2026 cars are running. And if anyone gets to look inside the Cayenne EV that's going around, that version would be cool to see too.
